On 30 September evening, SBSM Gharoa Majlis-III hosted a musical extravaganza that left a lasting impression on the audience. The evening was adorned with outstanding performances that captivated the senses and evoked thunderous applause from the attendees. Ayan Sengupta’s mesmerizing sitar melodies were beautifully complemented by the tabla artistry of Chiranjit Mukherjee [Khamaj, Kaunsi Kanhada, and on audience request Bhairavi]. Pinaki Chakraborty took the stage with an immensely compelling tabla solo, accompanied by the excellent harmonium skills of Jyotirmoy Banerjee [Trital, and on audience request Laggi]. Soumalya Mukhopadhyay treated the audience with his Indian Slide Guitar recital, brilliantly supported by Suprobhat Bhattacharjee on the tabla [Yaman, and on audience request Mian-ki-Malhar]. Each artist showcased their mastery, making the concert a colorful and unforgettable experience.
The audience was enraptured by the performances, repeatedly requesting encores from the musicians. For many, it was a revelation as they had never delved into the world of Raga Music before. Their enthusiastic response reflected the novelty and freshness of the musical journey they had embarked upon.
