Mithun Chakraborty
Mithun Chakraborty embarked on his musical journey with a profound dedication to mastering the Tabla, initially guided by the eminent Shree Dilip Mukherjee and later refined his skills under the tutelage of Shree Sumanta Chatterjee. Venturing into the intricate realm of Pakhawaj talim, Mithun honed his craft under the esteemed guidance of Shree Apurba Lal Manna, showcasing a relentless pursuit of excellence.
In his continuous pursuit of musical enlightenment, Mithun is currently immersed in the intricate art of Carnatic Percussions under the mentorship of the illustrious Shree Somnath Roy. He holds an MA in Pakhawaj from Rabindra Bharati University.
Mithun’s musical prowess has graced numerous prestigious platforms, providing Pakhawaj support to distinguished musicians at the ITC Sangeet Research Academy, Z-Bangla, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Kolkata Doordarshan, and various other renowned venues across India. Mithun is also a graded artist of Prasar Bharati.
